GREENFIELD, Mass. -- Turners Falls scored with 43 seconds left to earn a 4-4 tie against Mount Everett on Saturday evening.

The Eagles (1-1-2) fell behind, 2-1, after the first period but battled back to take a 4-3 lead when Jake Corcoran scored his third goal of the game with 1:34 on the clock.

"After getting outshot in the first we stepped it up in the second and third periods," Mount Everett coach Aidan Gilligan said. "A few players were banged up throughout the game and we had to go to a really short bench, which led to some fatigue late in the game."

Brendan Dempsey scored a goal and assisted on another for Mount Everett, which got 26 saves from Jonah Swotes.

The Eagles travel to the Boys and Girls Club in Pittsfield to meet Taconic on Saturday.
