Hillman, Mounties Qualify for Western Mass

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Jacob Hillman Monday carded a 4-over-par 40 at Wyantenuck to lead the Mount Greylock golf team to a 190-230 win over Mount Everett.

 

The victory gives the Mounties a record of 7-2 and secured a place in October’s Division 2 Western Massachusetts Tournament.

 

Hillman ended his day with a birdie on the par-4 ninth hole to earn medalist honors.

 

His Mount Greylock teammate Max Wied also birdied No. 9 on his way to a 50.

 

Finn Vion led Mount Everett with a 52.

 

The Eagles host Wahconah on Thursday.

 

Mount Greylock hosts Wahconah on Tuesday.
