Mount Greylock Boys Tennis Tops Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- The Mount Greylock boys tennis team Monday swept the singles matches in straight sets en route to a 4-1 win over Mount Everett at the Berkshire School.

 

The Mounties' second doubles tandem of Eddie Brannan and Adriel Benko came from behind to pull out a three-set victory for the other point.

 

Noah Williams and Jason Peck earned a point for the Eagles at first doubles.

 

Mount Everettt is at Pittsfield, and Mount Greylock is at Lee on Wednesday.

No. 2 Josh (MG) def. Jordi Peck, 6-2, 6-4.

No. 3 Troy Michaelek (MG) def. Willem Volmer, 6-3, 6-1.

No. 1 Noah Williams/Jason Peck (ME) def. Drew Scanlon/Luka Hirsch, 6-2, 6-3.

No. 2 Eddie Brannan/Adriel Benko (MG) def. Philip Enoch/Jay Seward Dailey, 3-6, 7-6 (8-6), 10-8.
