Monument Mountain Volleyball Rallies for Four-Set Win on Road

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- The Monument Mountain volleyball team Wednesday rallied from a set down to take a four-set win over Mount Everett behind 12 kills by Elena Angerman.

 

Angerman also had five aces for the Spartans, who prevailed, 17-25, 25-20, 25-10, 25-16.

 

Brianna Ayala had 28 aces, and Abby Wade added eight kills and eight digs for Monument Mountain. Marley Zorn had seven kills, seven digs and three aces in the win.

 

Mount Everett was led by Lizzy Sarnacki with four kills and 15 digs.

 

Ashley Atwood had 11 digs and three aces, Laynie Mullen had six assists, and Faith Angell rounded out the box score with three digs, three aces and three kills.

 

Mount Everett is at Taconic on Thursday while Monument Mountain goes to Lenox on Friday.
