South Hadley Tops Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Ben Wakkins and Mike Mazza each had a goal and an assist Wednesday to lead the South Hadley hockey team to a 5-1 win over Mount Everett at the Berkshire School.

 

The Tigers were up, 4-0, in the third period, when Caleb Kollmer scored with assists from Max Joyner and Grayson Duval.

 

Jack Seward-Dailey made 34 saves for the Eagles, who were outshot by a margin of 39-15.

 

Mount Everett goes to Shepaug on Saturday.
