McCann Tech Golfers Give New Players a Chance in Loss

AMHERST, Mass. -- The McCann Tech golf team ran into a powerful Frontier opponent on Tuesday and came away with a 23-1 loss at Cherry Hill Golf Course.

 

Matt Jette had the lone point for McCann in his match at No. 5, where he fell, 3-1.

 

Frontier ran its record to 11-0 on the season while the Hornets slipped below .500 to 4-5-1.

 

"We sat our top four players to let some other guys step in and show what they could do," McCann coach Corbin Brassard said. "We saw some good things and some things we have to work on."

 

McCann hosts Franklin Tech on Thursday at Forest Park Country Club.
