Athletes of the Week: Davis & DeGrenier

McCann Tech senior Sean Davis is a big reason the Hornets are off to a 2-0 start this spring. In Tuesday's season-opener, he went 3-for-5 in a 12-1 win at Pathfinder.

Two days later, Davis had a triple at the plate and struck out eight in a complete game victory on the mound.


Chandler DeGrenier

Mount Everett sophomore Chandler DeGrenier paced the Eagles to an 11-1 win over Drury by striking out eight Blue Devils and not allowing a base runner until the sixth inning.

DeGrenier ended up with a complete game, two-hit victory in the circle and helped her cause by going 2-for-3 with an RBI at the plate.

iBerkshires Sports and Capital Region Honda Dealers, including Bedard Honda in Cheshire, will be spotlighting two Berkshire County high school athletes each week, a boy and a girl, who best excelled in their sport or boosted their teams' efforts.
