McCann Tech Harriers Fall at Tri-Meet

AMHERST, Mass. – Gordon Tolopko and Sarah Fardal won the boys and girls races Wednesday to lead the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School to a pair of wins over McCann Tech at Hampshire College.

 

Tolopko took the boys race in 18 minutes, 5 seconds, as PVCICS beat the Hornets by a score of 15-50, the same score that Easthampton posted against the Hornets.

 

In the girls race, Fardal hit the tape in 21:36 to lead her squad to a 15-48 win over McCann Tech. Easthampton’s girls beat the Hornets, 20-38.

 

McCann’s top girl on Wednesday was Camryn Moran, who placed eighth in 23:42. Nick King led the McCann Tech boys, finishing in 27:08 to place 29th.
