McCann Tech Girls Defeat Pioneer at Glen

ADAMS, Mass. – Camryn Moran placed first overall to lead the McCann Tech girls cross country team to a 19-38 win over Pioneer Valley on Tuesday.

 

Moran covered the 3.2-mile course at the Greylock Glen in 24 minutes, 23 seconds to finish ahead of teammate Kamilia Kondel (26:05).

 

Julia Vareschi and Aliza Rozono placed fourth and fifth, respectively, for the Hornets.

 

In the boys race, Pioneer's Ryan Spofford ran a time of 20:45 to finish first and lead the Panthers to a 16-43 win.

 

McCann Tech’s Tucker Wirtes placed fifth in 23:28.

 

McCann Tech finishes the regular season next Wednesday with a tri-meet at Hampshire College against Pioneer Valley Christian and Easthampton.
