McCann Tech Tops Itself, St. Mary's

ADAMS, Mass. – Landon LeClair and Logan Driscoll each carded a 39 at Forest Park Country Club to lead the McCann Tech golf team to a 162-200 win over St. Mary’s on Wednesday.

 

“Landon Leclair has been swinging a hot stick, draining a 30-foot putt on hole No. 8 to save par,” McCann Tech coach Pat Ryan said. “Logan Driscoll is stepping up big in the 5 spot to add to the team’s high total.”

 

St. Mary’s only brought five players for the match; the five McCann Tech starters who squared off against the Saints each finished at 42 or better.

 

“Our team shot our season’s best score today,” Ryan said. “I’ve been telling the team for the last couple of matches to take one shot at a time and try not getting too fancy. The kids went out today and executed that and put up a great score.”

 

McCann Tech (5-0) hosts Westfield Tech on Thursday.
