McCann Tech Girls Split at Stanley Park

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Camryn Moran placed eighth overall Wednesday at Stanley Park to lead the McCann Tech girls cross country team to a split in a tri-meet.
 
Moran crossed the finish line in 24 minutes, 37 seconds to help the Hornets beat St. Mary’s, 23-33.
 
Hampshire’s girls topped McCann Tech, 15-50, behind a first-place finish from Kathleen Barry (21:48).
 
McCann Tech’s boys faced three opponents at Stanley, dropping decisions to Mahar (24-31), Hampshire (15-50) and St. Mary’s (19-40).
 
Hampshire’s Oscar Schiff was the top runner in the boys race, crossing the line in 17:56.
 
Tucker Wirtes placed 12th for the Hornets in 23:55.
 
McCann Tech on Tuesday is in Northampton to face Smith Voc, Hampden Charter and St. Mary’s.
