McCann Tech Harriers Compete at Pioneer Valley

NORTHFIELD, Mass. – Camryn Moran led a 1-2-3 sweep for the McCann Tech cross country team Tuesday as the Hornets beat Pioneer Valley, 15-50.

 

Moran crossed the finish line in 20 minutes, 37 seconds, about two minutes ahead of teammate Kamilia Kondel in second. Rebecca Vallieres placed third for McCann Tech.

 

In the boys meet, host Pioneer Valley beat the Hornets, 20-35.

 

The Hornets’ Brandon Miller took first place in 16:55, well ahead of runner-up Ryan Spofford of Pioneer (19:19).

 

McCann Tech next Tuesday hosts Easthampton and Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School at the Greylock Glen.
