McCann Tech Cross Country Teams Go 1-1 in Road Meet

HADLEY, Mass. – Brandon Miller finished third overall to lead the McCann Tech boys cross country team to a 1-1 record in a three-team meet at Hopkins Academy on Tuesday.

 

Miller crossed the finish line in 16 minutes, 19 seconds, 27 seconds behind individual winner Luke Howard of Frontier (15:52).

 

Frontier beat the Hornets, 18-45, in the team competition. McCann Tech beat host Hopkins, 19-42.

 

McCann Tech’s girls also beat Hopkins (15-50) and fell to Frontier (17-46).

 

Camryn Moran led the Hornets with a fifth-place finish, coming home in 20:24. Frontier’s Leah Gump placed first in 18:33.

 

McCann Tech goes to Greenfield on Tuesday.
