Westfield Tech Golfers Narrowly Defeat McCann Tech

WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Landon Leclair picked up a win in the sixth position to lead the McCann Tech golf team to a narrow 15-9 loss to Westfield Tech at East Mountain Country Club on Thursday.

 

Each of the Hornets earned at least a half a point in their individual matchs.

 

Leclair won his contest, 2.5-1.5.

 

Logan Driscoll halved his match, 2-2, in the No. 1 position. Mason Rondeau and Tim Kupiec each lost 2.5-1.5.

 

McCann Tech finishes the regular season with a 7-5 record in its league and a 7-6 record overall.

 

The Hornets head to the Country Club of Wilbraham on Monday for the Western Massachusetts Division 3 Championships.
