McCann Tech Golfers Top Central

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Logan Driscoll earned a win at No. 3 Tuesday to lead the McCann Tech golf team to a 16.5-7-5 victory over Springfield Central at Veterans Memorial Golf Course.

 

Central forfeited three of the six matches, allowing the Hornets’ Joe Roy, Dominic Briggs and Avery Huffstater to take uncontested 4-0 victories.

 

Keeghan Scott earned a point for the team in a 3-1 loss to Central’s Ocean Ellston at No. 2. Springfield’s Angela Huang beat Owen Vareschi, 4-0, at No. 1.

 

McCann Tech is home Wednesday against Central at Forest Park Country Club.
