McCann Tech Boys Sweep in Cross Country Opener

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Jadon Hartley and Braedon Delmolino finished 1-2 in 19 minutes, 9 seconds to lead a sweep of the top five spots for the McCann Tech boys cross country team in Tuesday’s season opener against Smith Vocational.
Smith edged the McCann Tech girls, 26-29, despite Madison Goodell’s win for the Hornets.
Gooddell crossed the finish line at Windsor Lake in 29:51, ahead of Smith Voc’s Adriana Tot-Lupien (30:09).
McCann Tech’s boys won their meet by a score of 15-51.
Chris Sunn (21:15), Daniel Williams (21:52) and Daniel McGory (22:05) rounded out the scoring for McCann Tech.
Six Hornets crossed the finish line before Smith Voc’s Grant Pelletier.
