McCann Tech Golfers Open with Convincing Win

ADAMS, Mass. --Ryan Baran carded a 40 and earned one of four 4-0 match wins as the McCann Tech golf team defeated Westfield Tech, 17-7, on Thursday at Forest Park. 

 

"Chris Rose and Dylynn Hardee both had a strong matches, with Dylynn landing a birdie on hole No. 5, followed right after a well placed par by Chris," McCann Tech coach Chris Carr said. "Brenden Scott also made his McCann golf debut, and had an incredibly close match. He was only bested by one stroke overall, but still earned us a point for our final score."

 

Rose and Hardee each carded a 40, and Nash Morin also won his match, 4-0, with a 48 for the Hornets.

 

McCann Tech (1-0) goes to Springfield to play Central on Tuesday.
