Tatro Leads McCann Tech Golfers Past Sabis

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Dalton Tatro carded a 28 over six holes to lead the McCann Tech golf team to an 18-0 win over Sabis on Thursday.

 

The match was shortened to six holes due to weather, and the Hornets were playing without two of their regulars, Ryan Baran and Matt ette, who were competing in a concurrent Pioneer Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference Event.

 

"It was a good opportunity for some younger players to step up and compete," McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz said.

 

Nick Thayer (27) and Dylynn Hardee (29) won their matches unopposed. Nash Morin (30), Sam Ingalls (32) and Chris Rose (32) each joined Tatro in defeating their opponents, 3-0.

 

McCann Tech hosts Mohawk Trail on Tuesday.
