Cowell Leads Drury Golfers to Season's First Win

STAMFORD, Vt. -- Justyn Cowell carded a 44 Friday to lead the Drury golf team to its first win of the season, a 179-186 victory over Mount Anthony Union at Stamford Valley Golf Course.

 

Medalist honors went to a pair of Patriots, Jack Bushee and Andrew Marsden, who finished at 3-over-par 39.

 

Cowell was backed up by three players who each scored a 45 for Drury (1-7): Connor Kelly, Seth Dupee and Jonathan Cornell.

 

Drury goes to Waubeeka to face Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
