Drury Golfers Edge Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. -- Freshman Jonahthan Dos Santos earned medalist honors for Wahconah, but the Drury golf team managed a one-stroke victory at Wahconah Country Club on Thursday.

 

Nick Bator birdied No. 12 and No. 17 on his way to a round of 42 to lead the Blue Devils (12-2) and finish just one stroke behind Dos Santos in the medal race.

 

Nick Trombley and Doug Sigsbury finished at 45, and Nick Boulger carded a 46 to round out the scoring for Drury.

 

Dos Santos (41) was backed up by Andrew Beaudoin (45), Sebastien Babeau (46) and Nick Cervone (47).

 

The players are off until Sunday when many head to Stockbridge for the Berkshire County Classic.
