Drury Icers Tie Amherst on Road

AMHERST, Mass. --Brandon Lincoln scored a power play goal late in the second period to give the Drury hockey team a 3-3 tie with Amherst on Saturday.
 
The Hurricanes jumped out to a 2-0 lead with goals in the first seven minutes of the game.
 
The Blue Devils got one back when David Delisle set up Omar Uqdah to make it 2-1 with 13 minutes, 38 seconds left in the first.
 
Amherst tacked on a power play goal to go into the first intermission ahead, 3-1.
 
Chase Vanderwoude scored midway through the second off Delisle's second assist of the game.
 
Cam Abel set up Lincoln for the tying goal with 5:14 left in the second.
 
Nate Haley made 37 saves for the Blue Devils, who were outshot, 40-19. 
 
Drury goes to Easthampton on Wednesday.
