Lee Bowlers Top Drury, Hold County Lead
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — J.T. Sorrentino outdueled Zach Yeaton, and Sorrentino’s Lee Wildcats outdueled Yeaton’s Drury Blue Devils on Tuesday at Greylock Bowl and Golf.
Sorrentino registered the top series of the week, a 486, to lead Lee to a 19-12 win over Drury that kept the ‘Cats in first place in the team standings.
Yeaton had the day’s best game (249) and second-best series (426). The Blue Devils are in fifth place in the nine-team league.
Lee leads the league with 92 points, just ahead of second-place McCann Tech (90.5 points). The Hornets on Tuesday defeated Mount Greylock, 27-4, behinda 233 game and 412 series from Austin Davine.
Taconic and Pittsfield each won their matches to stay in third and fourth places, respectively.
Taconic defeated Lee’s Orange team, 29-2. Taconic’s Lynsey Aldam had the best game (221) and best series (373) among the girls.
Pittsfield’s Marissa Buttlieri rolled a 318 series to lead the Generals to a 20-11 win over Monument Mountain.
