Lee's Williams Named Berkshire County MVP
After leading the Lee Wildcats to a league title and a Western Massachusetts championship game, Lee junior Kendra Williams was named the Berkshire County most valuable player by the league's coaches.
Williams is joined by two of her Lee teammates on the all-Berkshire County team: senior Courtney Picard and junior Shenna Tyer.
Mount Greylock, Pittsfield and Wahconah each put two players on the all-league first team. Mount Greylock juniors Jenna Benzinger and Dagny Albano are joined by seniors Emily Koldys and Michaela LaBlanc of Pittsfield and seniors Juli McBain and Sara LeFreniere of Wahconah.
Also making the first team are Mount Everett junior Kayla Krom, Monument Mountain senior Brianna Davis, St. Joseph senior Ilyssa Creamer, Lenox senior Cami Smachetti and Taconic senior Julia Kalinowsky.
The second team all-league squads were divided by division.
In the North, the honorees were Mount Greylock's Serena Chow and Hope Willis, Wahconah's Hailey Parker and Chloe Warren, Lenox's Anna Lynch and Kasey Vallee, Lee's Anna Wang and Pittsfield's Riley Nichols.
South honorees were Mount Everett's Jess Abbott and Parker Snyder, St. Joe's Leanne Hamilton and Colleen Baker, Mount Anthony's Phoebe Hall and Cheyanne Guetti, Taconic's Maddy Quinto and Monument's Siobhan Yapple.
