Lee Sweeps Athol to Reach Western Mass Semis

LEE, Mass. – Shayla Santolin and Mya Andre each registered six kills as the Lee volleyball team started the Western Massachusetts Class D tournament with a three-set win over Athol.

 

MaKayla Schuerer passed out 17 assists in the 25-18, 25-16, 25-12 win.

 

Schuerer also had nine digs and served three aces.

 

Karolynn Hopkins had five kills to go with 10 digs and a pair of aces in the win.

 

Lee (11-8) goes to Turners Falls on Friday in the semi-finals.
