Brown Leads Lee into Quarters

LEE, Mass. -- Liz Brown had 14 kills Tuesday to lead the fourth-seeded Lee volleyball team to a three-set win over Mills in the Division 5 State Tournament Sweet 16.

 

Brown also pulled up six digs in the 25-15, 25-19, 25-13 victory, which sends the Wildcats into the quarter-finals of the state tourney.

 

Makayla Schuerer passed out 26 assists and recorded eight digs.

 

Kylie Joyce had four kills, six aces and eight digs.

 

Lee will host the winner of Wednesday's octo-final match between Innovation Academy and No. 5 Bourne.
