Lee Knocks Off Tourney Rival Frontier

LEE, Mass. -- Liz Brown recorded 19 kills and 22 digs Wednesday to lead the Lee volleyball team to a three-set win over Frontier.

 

Brown also served a pair of aces and had two blocks in the 25-13, 27-25, 22-25, 25-21 win.

 

Frontier had one win against Lee already this year; two years ago, it beat the Wildcats in the last Western Mass final.

 

Rachel Wendling pulled up 28 digs and served six aces.

 

Kylie Joyce and Makayla Schuerer each had a double-double.

 

Joyce recorded 18 digs and 12 kills. Schuerer notched 15 digs and passed out 33 assists.

 

Lee (8-1) goes to Mount Greylock on Friday.
