Lenox Boys, Girls Sweep in Cross Country

LENOX, Mass. -- The Lenox boys and girls cross country teams swept individual honors and collected five dual meet wins between them on their home course on Thursday.

 

Grace Elliott led a 1-2-3 sweep at the front of the pack for the Lenox girls, finishing in 20 minutes, 12.21 seconds, 33 seconds ahead of teammate Ava Bachman. Alice Culver completed the sweep for the hosts as the Lenox girls beat Lee and Taconic.

 

Ahliya Phillips finished fourth in 22:41.53 for Taconic, which earned a team win over Mount Everett.

 

Monument Mountain also beat the Eagles behind Aria Grossman (23:01.93) and Kiera O’Rourke, who finished fifth and sixth, respectively.

 

Lenox’s boys won three dual meets, topping Lee, Taconic and Monument Mountain.

 

Ted Yee (17:18.27) and Colin Young finished 1-2 for the Millionaires.

 

Diego Salinetti (17:28.06) and Peter Larochelle were third and fourth for Monument’s boys, who earned a win over Mont Everett.

 

Taconic’s boys also beat Mount Everett behind a seventh-place showing from Jacob Paris (17:35.93).

 

Cole Duval cracked the top 10 for the Eagles, finishing eighth in 18:11.27.
