Zia Rallies to Lead Lee Boys Tennis Past Lenox
LENOX, Mass. -- Ibz Zia came from behind for a three-set win at first singles Wednesday to lead the Lee boys tennis team to a 4-1 win over Lenox.
Zia defeated Noah Kalischer-Coggins, 1-6, 6-4, 6-4. The Wildcats also won at No. 2 singles, where Christopher Petresch edged Ryan Silverstein, 6-4, 6-4.
In doubles play, the Lee pairings of Lukas Loehr/Dom Bartini and Julian Nejaime/Matt Petresch earned straight-set wins at first and second, respectively.
The Millionaires earned their point at third singles, where Sean Coakley defeated Michael Comalli, 6-3, 6-3.
