Lenox Posts Senior Night Sweep

LENOX, Mass. – Lenox senior Hailey Armold put down 12 kills Friday to lead the Lenox volleyball team to a three-set win over Belchertown on Senior Night for the Millionaires.
 
Armold also served five aces in the 25-23, 25-19, 25-22 win.
 
Lenox coach Stephanie Armstrong each of the squad’s seniors had “outstanding performances” in the team’s regular season finale.
 
Kelsey Kirchner filled the stat sheet with six kills, four digs and four blocks. Abby Winger had four kills, and Etta Schnackenberg passed out 16 assists and pulled up nine digs.
 
Eleanor Kropke played strong defense in the win, collecting six digs.
 
Lenox (16-1) learns Saturday who it will face in the quarter-finals of next week’s Western Massachusetts Class C Tournament.
