Pittsfield Volleyball Opens with Road Win

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Amanda Pou and Hailey Rumlow had five kills apiece Wednesday as the Pittsfield volleyball team overcame a slow start to earn a four-set win over Chicopee Comprehensive in the Generals’ season opener.

 

Pou also pulled up four digs and served a pair of aces for Pittsfield in its 21-25, 25-7, 25-17, 25-7 road win.

 

Marley Perras led Pittsfield with six aces and delivered four kills.

 

Rachelle Harrison passed out 14 assists.

 

Pittsfield (1-0) is home on Friday to face Ludlow.
