LONGMEADOW, Mass. -- The undefeated Longmeadow volleyball team, which has not dropped a set all season, handed Mount Greylock a 3-0 loss on Thursday night.

And the Mounties' the coach was not the least bit upset.

"I would love to play Longmeadow once a week," Greg Geyer said. "Not just to have another shot at them, but because the play is so good.

"[The Lancers'] attack this year is fierce. Longmeadow is going to go a long way in the Division 2 state playoffs and could win it all."

Annabelle Coody led Mount Greylock with eight kills, and Kylie Sweren had 10 assists.

Mount Greylock (13-2) hosts Ludlow on Wednesday in a bid to avenge its loss to the Lions earlier this season.
