Serves Help Wahconah Sweep West Springfield

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Eva Jacinto recorded six kills Wednesday to lead the Wahconah volleyball team to a three-set win over West Springfield.

 

Jacinto also pulled up 11 digs and served four aces in a 25-9, 25-11, 25-12 victory where serving was a big part of the equation.

 

“A strong serving night for Wahconah with 20 aces kept West Side out of system for a lot of the evening,” Wahconah coach Dave Lussier said.

 

Katie McCormack had four of those aces and delivered four kills.

 

Taylor Mason served a pair of aces and passed out 14 assists.

 

Wahconah (9-1) goes to Agawam on Oct. 3.
