Mason Leads Wahconah Past West Side

DALTON, Mass. – Olivia Mason recorded five aces Wednesday as the Wahconah volleyball team used strong serving for a bounceback win over West Springfield in its home opener.

 

Mason also notched three kills in the 25-8, 25-21, 25-18 win.

 

Sasha Fyfe had four aces and pulled up eight digs.

 

Megan O’Bryan led Wahconah with five kills.

 

Wahconah (1-1) is home again on Friday against Agawam. Prior to the varsity game, the 2023 inductees into the Dalton CRA Athletic Hall of Fame will be recognized.
