Lenox Volleyball Comes Back to Beat Wahconah

LENOX, Mass. -- Etta Schnackenberg had a double-double Friday as the Lenox volleyball team came back from a 2-0 deficit to earn a 3-2 win over Wahconah.
 
Schnackenberg passed out 19 assists and pulled up 10 digs in the 24-26, 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, 18-16 win.
 
Kelsey Kirchner had 20 kills and six blocks, and Abby Winger had 10 kills and eight digs for the Millionaires.
 
"The comeback from the girls was amazing and strong," Lenox coach Rachel Meczywor said. "Their determination and grit showed as they pressed on in each set to go on to win in the end."
 
Grace Julieano had 21 assists and eight digs, and Emily Barenski finished with 28 digs in the win, which saw Hailey Armold record 14 digs and eight kills.
 
For Wahconah, Megan O'Bryan and Emma Jacinto each had 14 kills. O'Bryan recorded 16 digs, and Eve Colombari passed out 34 assists.
 
Wahconah (8-5) goes to Westfield on Monday.
 
Lenox (12-1) is at Lee on Monday.
