PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Ella Stodden had a double-double Monday to lead the Taconic volleyball team to a 3-1 win over Sci-Tech.

Stodden passed out 15 assists and pulled up 13 digs in the 25-15, 25-16, 17-25, 25-13 win.

Stodden also tied Fernanda DeSiqueira for the team lead with six aces apiece.

DeSiqueira also knocked down four kills in the win.

Janayah Jones led Taconic with seven kills to go with eight digs and four aces. Jazmyn Wilson had nine digs as the Thunder improved to 6-1 this fall.

“Wednesday's match is going to be an extremely important one on the road against Putnam, who won our league last season,” Taconic coach Lance Fyfe said. “We are currently holding onto first place in the Central division at 6-0, but they are right behind us with their only loss being to us Sept. 3.”
