Mount Anthony Tops Mount Everett in Five Sets

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – The Mount Everett volleyball team Saturday dropped a five-set decision to Mount Anthony.

 

The Eagles overcame a slow start, dropping the first set, 25-14, but they could not overcome the loss of top hitter Kelly Krom, who sprained her ankle in the second set.

 

Mount Everett did rally to win that set and eventually force a fifth, but the Patriots put the match away with a 15-5 win in the deciding set.

 

Mount Everett (1-2) goes to Monument Mountain on Wednesday.
