Lee Advances to Class D Title Game

LEE, Mass. – Karalynn Hopkins put down nine kills Wednesday to lead the Lee volleyball team to a sweep of Pioneer Valley Christian Academy in the semi-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class D Tournament.

 

Hopkins also pulled up 13 digs in the 25-7, 25-22, 25-17 win.

 

The top-seeded Wildcats (14-5) advance to Saturday morning’s regional title game at West Springfield High School against the winner of Thursday’s semi-final between Turners Falls and Mohawk Trail.

 

On Wednesday, Juliana Schuerer directed Lee’s offense with 22 assists and served three aces.

 

Libero Claire Davis pulled up 14 digs. Lexi Masten and Mika Diller accounted for nine and five kills, respectively.
