Agawam Volleyball Edges Lee

AGAWAM, Mass. – The Lee volleyball team took a convincing win in the fourth set to extend the match, but host Agawam held on for a 3-2 win on Thursday night.

 

Alexis Masten and Juliana Schuerer each had a double-double for the Wildcats in the 23-25, 25-21, 25-19, 12-25, 15-7 loss.

 

Masten put down 12 kills and compiled 17 digs. Schuerer gave out 24 assists and pulled up 18 digs.

 

Claire Davis had a team-high 28 digs to go with three aces. Mika Diller led Lee with eight kills and contributed five digs, four aces and four blocks.

 

Lee (8-3) hosts Lenox on Monday.
