Schuerer, Wildcats Down West Side

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Juliana Schuerer passed out 20 assists Friday to lead the Lee High volleyball team to a three-set win over West Springfield.

 

Schuerer also served eight aces in a 25-10, 25-14, 25-7 win that evened Lee's record at 1-1.

 

Karalynn Hopkins had nine digs to go with seven kills and a pair of aces.

 

Lexi Masten put down seven kills and had five digs and a pair of aces.

 

Lee has its home opener on Tuesday against Agawam.
