LENOX, Mass. -- Madison DiGrigoli had a hat trick Friday to lead the Lenox girls soccer team to an 8-0 win over Springfield Central.

Maddie Pope scored twice as the Millionaires moved over the .500 mark with a record of 7-6-1 after winning their third straight game.

Sophia Carraro, Jane Elliot and Allie Rivers-Lussier each added a goal in the win.

"We’re really proud of the team’s performance," Lenox coach William Welch said. "The girls worked hard to stay organized and focused, and we saw a lot of positive moments both in possession and pressing. It was great to see the standard remain high even as the goals began to stack up.

"Maddie Pope was very aggressive in the midfield, and I’m thrilled for both Allie on her first goal and Maddie D. on her first hat trick."

Lenox hosts Lee on Thursday.
