Lenox Girls Come Back in Road Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Jane Elliot scored to break a 1-1 tie, and the Lenox girls soccer team Thursday overcame a halftime deficit to earn a 2-1 win over Springfield Central.
 
The comeback began when Rory Lenehan headed home a Jocelyn Fairfield corner kick at the far post to make it 1-1.
 
Sophia Schnackenberg then set up Elliot for the game-winner midway through the second half.
 
Schnackenberg also split time in goal with Sophia Cararo and Chloe Parsenios.
 
Lenox (1-1) goes to Mount Everett on Saturday.
