Pittsfield Girls Soccer Earns Draw in Opener

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Taylor Vidoli scored a pair of goals Wednesday to help the Pittsfield girls soccer team earn a 3-3 draw against Chicopee Comp.

 

Vidoli scored twice in the second half with assists from Tess Tiereney and Molly Pope.

 

Allie Schnopp converted an assist from Randi Duquette in the 48th minute to give the Generals a 3-2 lead.

 

But Taryn Carriveau scored her second goal of the game 15 minutes later to tie it.

 

Jasmine Small made three saves for the Generals, who outshot the Colts by a margin of 11-6.

 

Pittsfield (0-0-1) hosts South Hadley on Friday.
