Pittsfield Girls Soccer Shuts Out Hoosac Valley

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Allie Schnopp and Emery Sine each scored a goal to lead the Pittsfield girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over Hoosac Valley on Thursday.

 

Randi Duquette set up Schnopp for the game-winner in the eighth minute. Early in the second half, Sime scored with an assist from Sadie Tierney.

 

Liz Swanson made three saves to earn the shutout in goal.

 

Gabby Billetz stopped six shots for the Hurricanes (3-3-4), who go to Taconic on Tuesday.

 

Pittisfield (4-6-1) takes a two-game winning streak into Friday’s game at Belchertown.
