East Longmeadow Girls Edge Pittsfield

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. -- Jill Murphy scored early in the second half to break a 1-1 tie and send the East Longmeadow girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over Pittsfield.

 

Julia Eline-Wright gave the Generals a lead in the 14th minute when she converted an assist from Lindsey Schnopp.

 

Haley Tobin made 10 saves for Pittsfield (4-10-3), which wraps up its season Tuesday at home against Mount Greylock.
