Albert Comes Up Big for Pittsfield Girls in Win at Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Ilana Albert assisted on three goals Friday as the Pittsfield girls soccer team defeated Taconic, 5-0.

 

Five different players scored a goal for the Generals (2-2).

 

Hannah Dargie scored on an assist from Albert to open the scoring. Cassidy Moon and Julia Eline Wright hit the back of the net to make it 3-0 at half-time

 

In the second half, Lindsey Schopp set up Sadie Supranowicz, and Molly Tierney finished the scoring with help from Albert.

 

Brooke Mangiardi made 25 saves for Taconic (2-3), which hosts Hoosac Valley on Wednesday.

 

Bella Arace stopped two shots for Pittsfield, which hosts Monument Mountain on Monday.
