West Springfield Girls Soccer Rallies Past Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Pittsfield girls soccer team was defeated by West Springfield Thursday afternoon, 2-1.
 
The Generals led, 1-0, at halftime after a goal from Ilana Albert off a penalty kick with 7 minutes, 50 seconds left.
 
Pittsfield held Westside until the final six minutes when Nikki Abel scored off a penalty kick to tie it at one.
 
The Terriers then added the final goal with a minute and 49 seconds to go. Abel again did the honors.
 
Pittsfield goalie Allie Hunt had seven saves in net.
 
The Generals (12-3) travel to Wahconah Monday.
