ORANGE, Mass. -- The Pittsfield High School girls soccer team scored three goals in the last 15 minutes to rally for a 3-1 win over Mahar on Saturday.

Lindsey Schnopp and Hannah Dargie each had a goal and an assist as the Generals rallied to improve to 10-1 this fall and win its fourth game in six days.

Mahar (5-5-1) got on the board first when Jeanne Grutchfield scored with 16 seconds left before half-time.

It stayed a 1-0 game until Schnopp scored an unassisted goal from 20 yards out with 14 minutes, 32 seconds left to play.

Four minutes later, Schnopp set up Dargie for a goal at the edge of the 18 to give PHS a 2-1 lead.

"With less than 20 minutes left, we changed the formation to get more offensive and get better quality shots on goal," Pittsfield coach Andy Waluszko said.

Julie Eline Wright headed in a Dargie corner kick with just more than a minute left to provide the icing on the cake.

Allie Hunt made three saves to earn the win.

Pittsfield goes back on the road for another independent game on Wednesday, this time at 8-1-3 Ludlow.
