Pittsfield Girls Win Behind Three Albert Assists

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Illana Albert set up three goals to help the Pittsfield girls soccer team defeat Taconic, 4-0, on Saturday night at Berkshire Community College.

 

Emily Kestyn, Hannah Dargie, Katelyn Clarke and Julia Wright each scored a goal, and Dargie added an an assist for the Generals.

 

Allie Hunt made one save to get the win in a game ended with 32 minutes left in the second half due to inclement weather.

 

The second game of Saturday's planned double-header between the Pittsfield and Taconic boys was postponed wih no makeup date announced.

 

Pittsfield (1-0-1) hosts Mount Greylock on Thursday afternoon.

 

Taconic (0-3) hosts Lee on Monday.
