PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Nora Lopez scored a pair of goals Monday to lead the Mount Greylock girls soccer team to a 5-2 win over Pittsfield at Kirvin Park.

Madison Drake, Mila Marcisz and Gigi Nicastro each found the back of the net for the Mounties, who took a 2-1 lead into half-time and scored three times in the last 40 minutes.

Mai O’Connor made 13 stops to earn the win in goal for the Mounties.

“The score does not reflect our offensive pressure and several great opportunities in the last 20 minutes, but we continue to struggle with finishing,” Pittsfield coach Molly West said. “Defensively, we continue to make the same mistakes - some in transition - with defensive marking, which other teams are capitalizing on. I continue to be proud of our efforts until the final whistle; Kyana Summers continues to shine on defense.”

Harolyn Castillo made 10 saves in goal for the Generals.

Madison Stetz scored a goal and assisted on a goal by Caprese Conyers.

The Generals (0-7-1) host Drury on Tuesday.

Mount Greylock (6-0-2) hosts Springfield Central on Friday.
