Flynn Leads Monument Mountain Girls Past Pittsfield

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Molly Flynn scored one goal and set up another to lead the Monument Mountain girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over Pittsfield on Monday.

 

Flynn set up Abby Kinne for a goal off a corner kick in the first half for the game-winner.

 

In the second half, Ava Gamberoni sent a cross from the right that Fiona Horan on the far post. Horan sent the ball back to the middle, where Flynn finished it off for an insurance tally.

 

Monument Mountain (3-3) goes to BCC to face Taconic on Wednesday.

 

Pittsfield (2-5) is at Hoosac Valley on Wednesday.
